PENYULUHAN PENCEGAHAN SEKSUAL BERISIKO: MEMBANGUN REMAJA SMPN 11 PEKANBARU YANG SEHAT DAN BERKARAKTER

Adolescence is a transitional period characterized by biological, psychological, and social changes. During this phase, adolescents tend to have a high level of curiosity about reproductive health and sexual behavior. Lack of knowledge, exposure to digital media without adequate supervision, peer influence, and limited reproductive health communication with parents and teachers may increase the risk of engaging in risky sexual behaviors. At SMPN 11 Pekanbaru, specific and structured education focusing on the prevention of risky sexual behavior using an interactive and adolescent-friendly approach had not previously been implemented. The results of the activity demonstrated a positive improvement in participants’ knowledge, with the mean post-test score increasing from 9.44 to 9.88 compared with the pre-test score. A total of 12 participants (37.5%) experienced an increase in their scores, while 18 participants (56.25%) maintained their high scores. Three participants successfully answered questions during the question-and-answer session and received door prizes as a form of appreciation. The students demonstrated a high level of enthusiasm and openness throughout the activity. The outputs of this community service activity include a final community service report supplemented with activity documentation, a participant attendance list, educational materials, and pre-test and post-test results.
