PEMANFAATAN PANAS KNALPOT YANMAR TS190H MELALUI HEAT EXCHANGER: TINJAUAN SISTEMATIS
Sari
Abstract: This systematic review examines the technical basis for recovering exhaust heat from the Yanmar TS190H diesel engine through a heat exchanger and identifies variables that should guide prototype testing. Thirteen primary studies published between 2020 and 2026 were selected through PRISMA-oriented screening and evaluated for methodological clarity and relevance. Evidence was organized around exhaust-heat characteristics, operating parameters, exchanger geometry, backpressure, fouling, and direct water heating. Because engine scales, methods, and performance indicators differed substantially, the findings were synthesized narratively. Exhaust temperature and mass flow, engine load, water flow rate, pipe dimensions, heat-transfer area, flow arrangement, and exhaust resistance consistently governed system performance. A double-pipe or concentric-tube counterflow configuration emerged as the most practical starting point because it combines simple fabrication, cleaning access, and controllable pressure loss. The review proposes a Yanmar TS190H-specific thermal–hydraulic operating window to integrate heat recovery, pressure constraints, and maintainability before experimental validation.
